Monday Math Assignment: Please choose one or more of the activities below and send in a picture/video
- Counting and Number Order: You can use blocks, cups, or anything you can stack to practice counting and putting numbers in order. Write the number on one side of the block and put the same number of dots on another side, as shown below. Then have your students count up from one as they stack.

- Number Match Activity: On a piece of paper (on a table or hung up on the wall) make dot clusters equal to numbers 1 to 10. Next label sticky notes with numbers 1 to 10. Have the students count the dots and choose the number from the sticky notes. Example: A dot cluster has ‘1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6’ dots. I would take the sticky note with the number ‘6’ on it and place the sticky note on top of the dot cluster.

- One-to-one Correspondence: label any container (for example cups or bowls) from 0 to 10. Then have your student place the same number of any small objects ( sticks, pencils, crayons, toys, spoons) into the container. Example: The bowl is labeled “5”, so I would count out ‘1, 2, 3, 4, 5’ spoons and put them in the bowl.
