The DHS Band Camp Meeting is here! This is the much communicated meeting that kicks off our Band Camp season for the fall. Mr. Walters will communicate the plan, the section leaders, drum major and expectations. This meeting is mandatory for your student and at least one parent. In addition, it is mandatory that you bring the following items with you to make your final payment and finalize registration for the camp.
MUST BRING:
- -All COLORED forms from your registration packet, completed with all blank spaces filled out.
- –TWO separate payment checks made out to BABC
- Final band camp payment with any outstanding fees remaining(see below). (if multiple students, camp payments can be combined into this check)
- One other SEPARATE payment check for uniform orders (orange sheet-Shoes, t-shirts, gloves).
- Chaperone volunteer form . We can’t have band camp without parents willing to chaperone.
We are flexible for overnighters that need to work around work hours. The drive is only about
1hr 20min. Really need folks to help Tues/Wed, as these are our hardest days to get covered. If you are able, please consider pitching in for your student.
o In addition, this will be my last year as coordinating band camp parent. Please consider stepping up to take on this fun assignment in the future. It is well organized and easy to make things happen. I am happy to share everything I know. It’s very rewarding.
