Good Morning! I hope you were able to get out over the weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather. I saw many Howard students out and about riding bikes, walking with families, and playing in their yards with siblings! Mr. Dearth and I want to thank the class for a delicious meal that we received over the weekend for β₯ Teacher Appreciation Week β₯! Thank you Mr. Salame for the special delivery. Today, we continue our Geometry topic and vocabulary unit, wrap-up the Lexington/Concord activities, and start a writing activity. You will begin with reading about eagles, our national bird. On Tuesday, you will read another article about eagles before we start the writing activity on Wednesday. As always, please read all the directions for each assignment!
We also have our regularly scheduled meet at 12:00 today. Some of you have had difficulty getting logged in to our new meeting, BBB, but try again. Don’t give up. Remember you need to be logging in with your school account. Go to the District’s Student Page, and click on iLearn before you can click on Room 10 BBB. See you then!

We made it! Another week done. Here we are, and it is May 1st! And it is a Friday which means we have a meeting TODAY! At 1:00, logon in iLearn from your Student Page of the District’s website, and we will do some math. Have your notebooks ready or just a piece a paper. I look forward to seeing your smiling faces! So…you will see your daily assignments on the Page above and in Classroom, but…you will also see Enrichment Projects listed in Classroom. THESE ARE OPTIONAL! You were so excited that I am giving you a choice of a science or social studies project this week. They are scheduled for an entire week. Good Morning! Did you get outside yesterday? It was beautiful. Mr. Dearth & I enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the dog chase the squirrels! Fun evening. Today is our Meet. Please remember to go to the Student Page at 1:00, click on iLearn, then click on the Blue B to join our Room 10 meeting. Please have your BINGO card ready to go which is in your Room 10 assignment in classroom. We will play during our meeting. The directions to fill it out are in Classroom. The District, as you know, has asked teachers to meet with our students via video meetings. I am posting my schedule for Meets, so everyone knows the schedule. I am offering more than the District requires, but my class requested for me to meet with them more often. Yeah! I was so excited to hear them say that. Students can join all the Meets, but should join at least once a week. It is the same schedule each week.
