Good Morning or Evening! I know some of you start your work the night before. Did you see the Blue Angels? Or hear them? They were really loud!! What a wonderful tribute to our front line workers! Wow, I enjoyed reading your letters today. Thank you for sharing while learning to write a proper letter.
Today you will finish our read aloud. I just really enjoy Aven’s story. I hope you do too. You will also use your Online Social Studies book today. You haven’t used it for awhile, so remember it is on the tab above. You will read about some important people events today. For math today, you will review the measurements for triangles and quadrilaterals. Complete your IXL for this activity. Finally, complete a spelling activity. We have a meeting today, so I hope to see you at 1:00! Have a really good day.
Hello! Today is a special day because you will have the opportunity to see the Blue Angels fly over our area saluting our medical workers! Be sure to look outside between 11:30 -12:00 to see them!
Were you surprised that Aven performed?!? On Wednesday, we will finish reading the book!! Today you will continue with math lesson 20, learn more about food webs, learn to write a friendly letter, and read Warriors. I know, I know. It is not your favorite book…yet. We just started it. Give it more time. The more familiar you get with the characters, the more comfortable you will be with the story line. You will write a letter to me. so make it exciting!! Follow the directions in Classroom to learn how to write a letter…the correct way! I can’t wait to see what you all have to say. Have a good day!
Good Morning! I hope you all showered your loving parent/mom with gifts of gratitude! I wanted to share one last poem I received last week. Thank you! I also wanted to share a slideshow from the enrichment projects. This one is on the solar system. Good job!
Today you will continue with spelling. You have a spelling list in Classroom that you will use this week in preparation for a spelling test on Friday. This list gives you continued practice using prefixes. Today and tomorrow you will wrap up your lessons on shapes and the individual properties that make each shape unique. Wednesday will be the Topic Quiz for lessons 16-20. You will continue our story to freedom as you read and watch about the Battle of Bunker Hill. This military event shows Britain the colonists were not backing down. And as we near the end of Insignificant Events, listen to find out if Aven’s festival is a success or not. Another look back!! I wanted to thank all the parents and students for their kind words and virtual flowers this week during Teacher Appreciation Week. You all have a special place in my heart!
