Well, we missed another field trip. I am in the process of rescheduling both of our trips. I will let you know as soon as I can regarding the dates of future trips. In the event I can not reschedule one or both of them, I will refund your money.
The math test will also be rescheduled to Tuesday. We will take Friday and Monday for reviewing. Please have your child practice their math on Zearn. All students should have completed lesson 12. Keep practicing!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, we will go on our field trip. The class will leave by 9:15 and return about 12:30ish. The students will eat lunch upon returning to school. Please send a packed lunch and drink.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, is our day to purchase books at the book fair. If your child is interested in buying any books, they will need to bring money tomorrow.
Lastly, on Thursday, the students will have their Mid-Module 4 Assessment. We have practiced and practiced adding, subtracting, and multiplying fractions. We are wizards at it! The class will review tomorrow in preparation of the test on Thursday.
Wednesday is our field trip. Please pack and lunch and a drink with your child that day. Thank you!
On Friday, the students will be able to bring their Valentine cards to school to trade with other students. We will have a regular schedule until after lunch with the exchange starting around 12:00. Please bring your cards on Friday.
Our challenge this morning was to construct a tower using index cards. The students had to watch a engineering process video, plan their tower, decide if they needed/wanted any other materials, then could start building during the 15 minute time given. After 15 minutes, they could discuss any improvements needed to make their tower better. The students then had 5 more minutes to complete the challenge. Here are the 1st and 2nd place winners along with a couple other photos during the challenge. The kids had a great time, and learned a lot in the process!
Howard’s Book Fair for our class is Feb. 26th. Students will bring an amount of money of their choice to purchase a book or books. We will not have a preview day. Thank you.
Field Trip permission slips for Pewabic Pottery are due tomorrow.
Today we had a wonderful time in math. The kids were asking to do more! Imagine. Wanting to do more math. We had fun! They were solving fraction problems and enjoying it! They have learned so much since we started just a few months ago! Love my kids!
Bake Sale Tomorrow
