We had a great week this past week. We are getting to know each and every student better. We took a reading interest survey, a pretest on story elements to see what we know and what we need to teach too. We also started learning about how to be better readers using a variety of strategies and also how we will become a community of learners using reading apprenticeship.
This week is a busy week!
Monday: Summer Book Talk is Due!
Monday & Tuesday – Math NWEA
Wednesday & Thursday – Reading NWEA
Wednesday evening – open house from 6-7:30 p.m.
Friday – Half day dismissal is at 11:05 a,m.
In addition, we will start learning elements of a story and start reading our first story from our literature book called, “The School Play.”
