We had library today and then took notes on how to properly use quotation marks.

We have an ISN check tomorrow so we went through and made sure we were prepared and weren’t missing anything. Students had the opportunity to ask for anything they were missing today in class, even though I always put it in the absent mailbox for them to grab when they return to my class.

Unit 4 Comprehension Test is tomorrow. This will be on “The Prince and the Pauper” – study your characterization chart as well as reviewing theme, figurative language, & making connections.

At the end of class we completed a Rainbow Write where we had to brainstorm themes found in “The Prince and the Pauper”, textual evidence for someone else’s brainstormed theme, and reasoning for another person’s textual evidence. We will present this tomorrow in class.
