Reading/Writing:  We worked on our Theme Projects after taking notes on Prepositions. This is a group project centered around the story of the group’s choosing. Students will get time on Monday and Tuesday to work on this in class. All absent students have been placed in a group willing to include them when they return. This project is due TOMORROW!! Reading:  We read the poem “Message From a Caterpillar” and discussed it’s theme with our groups and as a class.  

 

Writing:  We helped Mrs. Dailing write a theme CER paragraph about “Message From a Caterpillar”. After discussing this, we read “The Ant and the Grasshopper” and wrote our own theme CER paragraph about it. This was due at the end of class or it was homework. Reading:  We worked on making inferences about a character by completing a media activity where we analyzed a video clip with the character Clark Kent from the show “Smallville”. 

 

Writing: Today we began to learn about the different types of pronouns and took notes on them. I will be adding lessons to MobyMax today which are still due March 15th. Personal narratives were also due today and are subject to a 10% loss of points if not printed and turned in to me today.
