March 15th

We began class with some Word Work to explore the challenging vocabulary students will need to understand the events in our play. Then, we began acting out the play “The Prince and the Pauper” by Mark Twain. All students will get the opportunity to play a part at some point during this unit. This is being performed during class over the course of the next 5-6 school days.

Students were given more time to type up their final copies for their Compare and Contrast essays and some even went to the library to print theirs. This is now homework due tomorrow. If you are not able to print at home you MUST print in the library BEFORE my class begins (before school, advisory time, lunchtime – just ask your teacher or me to write you a pass!).
