Conferences are today from 3:30-6:30pm. Please arrive no later than 6pm if you want to visit all of your teachers! Monday’s conferences will be rescheduled, the date has yet to be determined.

Reading: We reviewed C.E.R. today and talked to the text with a murder mystery to gather all of our evidence first.

Writing: We wrote down what evidence from the story/picture is the strongest to support our claim of whether or not a character is telling the truth and reasoning for why on a chart. We will discuss and write out a full CER tomorrow with this.

Homework

• Read Theory (5 passed every week starting November 2nd – 15 by Sunday)
• Read “good fit” book for 20 minutes (One pager coming soon – make sure you’re reading!)
• Newsela Article of the Week “Pro/Con: Self-driving cars” now due Monday, November 18th due to snow day
