Today we had small group discussions about the Video Game articles we read and made a pro/con list on. We did this using the Socratic Seminar model.

If you did not finish your Article of the Week Annotations, it is homework. You need to be prepared to take the quiz and write the CER response in class tomorrow!

Homework:

• Finish Talking to the Text with your Newsela Article. This needs to be done by the beginning of class tomorrow!!!
• Read 100 minutes of your chapter book this week!! (whenever it fits into your busy schedule! Just make sure it totals 100 minutes)
• One-Pager #3 – don’t wait until the last minute to do this!! Due January 11th (One-Pager #4 will be coming before Winter Break!)
• Read Theory –  must pass 5 every week for full credit!
