Today’s Agenda

Reading: We finished our figurative language notes by learning about symbolism, idioms, and allusions. We will continue this learning on Monday.

Writing: We continued our “Overcoming Obstacles” rough draft today. This is now homework due on Monday.

Grammar quiz next Thursday! Nouns, Verbs, Interjections (study notes, MobyMax and IXL starred lessons can help you study as well), there is also practice on Quizlet (link on my Clever and iLearn)

Remember – there are no retakes for my quizzes as the retake is built into the quiz. You have 3 chances to get the question correct.

All One-Pagers and Late work/Missing Assignments were due today. I will NOT accept any next week unless you had an excused absence.

Homework

• Read Theory (5 passed every week) – 55 total passed from November 2nd-January 17th to get full points
• Read your “good fit” book for 20 minutes (you need to do this for your One-Pagers!)
• Moby Max – Interjections lesson and lesson test (85% or higher for full points) – due January 21st
• IXL – Punctuation skill #3 – Interjections (must get 100 points for full points) – due January 21st
