Today we brainstormed ideas on how we would have liked “All Summer in a Day” to end because it left us with a cliffhanger. We will begin to develop our alternate ending ideas this week.

We also played a test review game at the end of class. This can be located on my Google Classroom to help you study at home.

  1. On IXL (log in same way you do for math or go to my Google Classroom for direct links) click on Language Arts.
  2. Click on 6th grade
  3. Scroll down to Grammar and Mechanics
  4. I have starred 6 lessons eligible for extra credit
    • Nouns – #6: Identify plurals, singular possessives, and plural possessives, #7: Form the singular or plural possessive, & #8: Identify and correct errors with plural and possessive nouns
    • Verb Types – #1: Identify main verbs and helping verbs
    • Verb Tenses – #1: Irregular past tense: review & #6: Choose between the past tense and past participle
