We are NWEA testing Monday-Thursday this week, taking the reading and language tests.

When students are done with their tests, they will read chapters 6 & 7 of The Giver and work on the chapter questions. Final copies of your compare and contrast essays are due printed and turned in to me by Friday!

Reading: Chapters 6 & 7 should be read before class on Friday. The chapter questions should be completed and ready to discuss by Friday as well.

Writing: You may begin revising your essay using your checklist and peer feedback and type up your final copy on Google Classroom. Final copies are due Friday, May 17th – you are responsible for printing it and turning it in by this date.

Greek and Latin Root Quiz on Monday – study your notes! (this includes the extra credit quiz if you did all three sessions)

Homework:

• Compare and Contrast Essay Final Copies due Friday, May 17th. YOU MUST PRINT AND TURN IN A HARD COPY.
• One Pagers #7 & #8 –  Due May 23rd (NEXT WEEK!)
• 5 ReadTheory due by Sunday every week! We should have 35 by Sunday since March 30th
• Read 100 minutes of your chapter book every week!! (about 20 minutes per day) – Read 2 full novels EVERY card marking
