Reading: We took notes on Characterization and practiced identifying character traits with our favorite book/movie/TV characters with our reasoning for why.
Writing: We did a few preposition practice pages and went over the answers. At the end of class we were given a MSTEP-like writing prompt and were asked to break it down as a group and write it out in kid friendly words. This was a struggle, but a good one! At the end we discussed what made us struggle so we can get a better understanding of what we need to work on with future writing prompts.
