Today we went to the library and did a Word Detective Investigation with our new story. We found new words and investigated their meanings with a partner then presented them to the class.

We worked in Reading and Writing workshop stations today.   Today was the end of the card-marking.  All grades will be updated by Sunday evening/Monday morning. Students will review their grades to make sure mistakes weren’t mad and grades are final after that. Report  cards are passed out at conferences in two weeks.

Today we learned the 4 types of conflict today and discussed examples of when we have read about this type of conflict. During grammar time we went over abstract and concrete nouns. We also put together our Working Folders for Writer’s Workshop.
