We did small group Reading and Writing workshop stations today after silent reading time.  Any student did not complete their Double Entry Journals from yesterday worked with me in a small group until they finished.

If you did not finish chunks 1-7 today it is homework! I will be collecting this tomorrow! Here is the story and guiding questions. Remember, we are only focusing on the important events in the story and are DIRECTLY quoting from the text. (word-for-word, exactly how the author wrote it)

Mrs. Dailing’s Extended Day Students ONLY – I sent a note home yesterday letting you know that Thursday’s session is moved to TODAY! Don’t forget! This does not apply to any other extended day sessions!

One-Pager #1 and #2 are due IN TWO WEEKS!!! (October 26th) Each student should have at least ONE full novel read by this point in the year and should be almost finished with their 2nd book if they are to finish their One-Pagers on time. These are 20 points summative each and will impact their grade tremendously if not turned in. Please make sure you are not waiting until the last day to complete these, they will take more than an evening to complete.

• Read 100 minutes of your chapter book this week!! (whenever it fits into your busy schedule! Just make sure it totals 100 minutes)
• Read Theory – 5 more quizzes passed by Friday!
• MobyMax – Language – “Functions of Parts of Speech” (sign in through Clever only!) – Due October 31st

• One-Pagers #1 & 2 due October 26th – THAT’S IN TWO WEEKS!!!!
