November 14th

Today we took genre notes on the genres of fiction and reviewed non-fiction genres.  We also previewed our Article of the Week  by annotating text features and making a prediction at the bottom of the article.  We were also given One-Pager #3 directions so students can get a head start on these. All students are expected to read at least two chapter books per marking period (if not more!) and complete their assigned One-Pagers once finished.  These are due no later than January 26th, the sooner they turn it in the better!

Last day of conferences are Tuesday, November 14th from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m.  Conferences are student-led so please bring your student with you so they can show off their hard work!

Have a great evening!
