Today we continued with our folktale project. We will be working on this in class for the next week. Students should have finished their research today and started to create their PowerPoint presentation collaboratively. This project will be worth 50 summative points and the students will be given most of class each day (about 80 minutes) for the next week to complete the project. They will be required to create a collaborative PowerPoint presentation as well as a theme scrapbook page to present their folktale to the class. I will provide the scrapbook paper next week, any other materials (stickers, printouts, etc.) will be at the student’s discretion and can be brought from home.  We will begin presenting these next Thursday, April 20th. This assignment will heavily impact the students’ grades for fifth marking so using class time wisely with their group members will be essential for their success.
