The students learned more about Folktales today by finishing our notes and then analyzing the stories “The Ant and the Grasshopper” and “Rumpelstiltskin” for their folktale elements in small groups. We will be focusing on folktales and elements of a folktale over the course of the next two weeks.  This helped them practice for their upcoming Folktale Analysis Project which will be introduced tomorrow and is due by Thursday, April 20th.
