We began characterization today with selecting strong character trait adjectives from a pile and using them to describe one character from Tuck Everlasting. We shared our responses in pairs and then created a circle and shared whole class. Students did very well with this activity! I was blown away by their ability to make inferences and connect their ideas!

Homework:

• Reading log (60 minutes, 3 total responses, of reading due to the fact that they received their reading logs today in class) – Due Friday
• Final Copy of Personal Narrative was due yesterday!!!
• Tuck Everlasting Ch. 6-8 & comprehension questions
  • We will be reading chapters 9-11 in class tomorrow
