Monday 2/3
Science Fair
- Today was the third “in-class” work day.
- Students have worked at their own pace to complete the first four steps of the scientific method for their project.
- To stay on pace, students should have identified their question (step 1) and began the background research (step 2).
- An ungraded checklist will be entered into the grade book so that you can monitor your child’s progress.
- Steps 1-4 are on Google Classroom but each step must be checked in with me before the next step can be started.
Step 1 Question: If it has not been checked in by Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020, I will assign a question to the student.
Body Systems
- We built a noodle tower. Itwas an intro activity for lesson 9.
- All past work, Scientific Method Foldable, and assignments 19-24 are on Google Classroom.
Wednesday 2/5
- Newsela.com CERs
- Students were assigned four articles to read on Newsela.com and complete the correlating CERs.
Friday 2/7
- 23 Tissue Engineering Solutions was redone as a class
- 25 Tissue Repair
- 26 Tissue Repair CER
Body Systems Unit Test-Week of Feb. 24-28
We have been studying this unit since November.
There will NOT be a study guide. All past assignments 1-current are the what needs to be studied. (3 months worth of work)
Study Suggestion:
- Week Feb. 3-7: Review assignments 1-10
- Week Feb. 10-14: Review assignments 11-20
- Week Feb. 17-21: Review assignments 21-current
