For today’s lesson we will be reading, “A Happy Planet” and answering the questions at the bottom of each page. Our story for today is”It’s Earth Day!” by Mercer Mayer, one of my favorites to read during the month of April.

Hope you try a couple of these activities at home today to help save the earth!

– What can you do to save water?
– What can you plant in the ground?
– If we are not in a room, do we keep the lights on or off?
– Which picture shows a Recycling bin?
– Can we reuse bags at the grocery store?
– Which picture shows growing a garden?
– How can you save water?
– What is the little girl doing?
– Where do we put litter?
