Dear Parents,
Dearborn Public Schools will be closed until April 13th. During this time of shut down, we are going to work hard to continue student learning. Here are some academics to work on at home: letter identification, sound association, counting (adding, too!), fine motor and gross motor activities (sorting items, playing with playdoh, cutting, ect.), and life skills activities (help cooking, cleaning, folding laundry, ect.) with your child for at least two hours a day. Lastly, read to your child/have your child read to you for 30-45 minutes a day.
Websites that are great resources:

It is also very important to keep your child in a structured routine. Below is an example of a home schedule could look like:

If you would like any resources or ideas to work on at home, please email cullipv@dearbornschools.org and I will be happy to assist with ideas and materials!
Stay safe, stay healthy, and keep washing your hands,
Ms. Cullip
