The last day for me to take math grades is this Friday. The grades have been updated today. If your student has anything missing, they will need to give it to me before Friday. Also, if your student received a low quiz grade on Lesson 4, they may stay after school on Thursday for the redo. In order to be invited for the redo, all missing work must be turned in.
The students should use pages 37-38 as well as their study guide to study for the Lesson 4 quiz that will be given on Friday.
This week we finished up Lesson 4. Our Lesson 4 quiz will be on Friday. Students received a study guide today. They don’t have to finish it for homework, but if they want to get started studying, they may.
Lesson 4 – pages 29-38 are due on Friday. Students have these pages hole punched and placed into their math binders. We have been working on these pages for a week and will be finishing pages 37-38 on Thursday
Lesson 4 = Study Guide….. We will be finishing this in class on Thursday as well.

Students completed a quiz on lesson 3 and began learning lesson 4- solving problems with unit rates.

This week we have been working on Lesson 3. the students have pages 19 to 26 in their math binders. We will finish the last 2 pages on Friday and students will turn in. On Monday they will get these papers back along with a study guide for the lesson 3 quiz.
Lesson 3 quiz will be given next Tuesday, Oct. 16 (use the pages listed above as well as the study guide to prepare for the quiz)
Thursday = Continue with Lesson 3 –w Assigned orange book pages 19 – 20
ixl all students should be done with R5 , if not it is homework
Wednesday = Start Lesson 3 on Equivalent Rations pages 16 & 17 in the white book and continue working on R1, R2, R5

Tuesday= Lesson 1 quizzes returned. If you would like to redo your quiz, you may Thursday after school from 3:00 to 3:30. Everyone who has completed their homework (I will allow 1 late) is invited to come and I will take the higher grade.
Monday= We started Lesson 2 – Day 1 – unit rates & we turned in our 6 vocabulary homework words
