PBIS movie reward permission Slips are due on Monday (please turn these into your a square teacher
Spirit Week
Monday = Sports Day (wear your favorite college or sports apparel)
Tuesday = Wear Slides Day
Wednesday = Color War (6th grade wear green)
Thursday = Halloween (wear a costume)
Friday = Woodworth Spirit Day (wear purple and yellow)
This week we will be finishing Lesson 4. Our Lesson 4 quiz will be on Friday. Then the following week, Tuesday we will have a Unit 1 test on all of the quizzes we have done this year (lessons 1,2,3, and 4)
Students will be bringing home a movie permission slip for our PBIS reward. Please return ASAP.
On Tuesday we are taking a quiz on Lesson 2 . Students were given a study guide on Monday.
Tuesday after our quiz we had vocabulary words to complete from Lessons 2 and 4. Students may have to complete this for homework today. Go to your student email and I sent you a link to these vocabulary words (due on Wednesday)
Wednesday is a late start day and we will be starting Lesson 4.
This week we are taking a Lesson 3 quiz on Tuesday. Then we will be going back to lesson 2 (which is short)
On Friday, we will be having a 1/2 day.
This week we are working on Lesson 3. Students received their Lesson 1 quizzes back on Monday. Please check parent connect to see what your students grade is and if they are missing any assignments.
On Tuesday, October 8 we will take our Lesson 3 quiz.
IXL
This week we logged into ixl for math. The students had time during bell work to complete I5(6th)100, A1(4th)100 and A5(4th)100. These are going to be placed in the gradebook as an assignment. Please check with your student to make sure this is complete.
Also, we took our first quiz on Wednesday, Sept 25. I will be grading these on the weekend. When this happens I will be turning off Khan minutes and then turning on the Lesson 1 quiz.
Week of September 23
Our first quiz will be on Wednesday, September 25. Students have papers in their folder that they can use to study for the quiz on Tuesday night.
Khan Update
Students/Teachers are not able to see the minutes at this time. Khan Academy assures me that all minutes have been recorded. They are working on fixing the issue.
For the beginning of the school year we have been learning classroom routines.
During the week of September 16, we started Lesson 1 in our book. Our first quiz for lesson 1 will be Wednesday, September 25. Students have the practice problems for this lesson inside of their binders. (use these to study for the quiz.
Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying your summer. This is just a friendly reminder that you need to complete Khan minutes over the summer. Teachers will grade the completed summer work when school returns. Below are the expectations for math.
