GOBBLE, GOBBLE Med term students!

I hope that all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Don’t forget:  On Monday when you come back you will have your first pharmacy abbreviation test.  Please memorize the first page.  All of them will be on the test.  Pay attention to detail.  Capitol letters means capitol letters. Lower case means lower case.  Also know how to spell the meanings.

Complete the guided notes with the power point that is posted on iLearn under chapter five. I will be collecting these on Monday.

Have a bountiful holiday full of love and family!

School districts in Wayne County have placed a proposal on the November 8th ballot to provide added funding for our schools. It is the “Regional Enhancement Millage Proposal.”

If approved by the entire county, the 2 mil proposal will generate approximately $6.2 million from Dearborn but the District will receive $7.8 million in additional funding for our schools.  Money would go to local schools starting this year and the millage expires after six years.  Continue reading

WOOOO HOOOO! The weekend is here!

Can you tell that I’m excited?

For all of my classes:

Please bring in your HOSA permission slips and money on Monday.  Please research what you may want to do for your competition so that we can start preparing.  January 28th will be here before you know it.

I am in the process of compiling a list for the MedTalks field trip and you will not be going if you are not a HOSA member. I can only take a certain number of students so it’s first come first serve with that field trip!

For all of you that requested HOSA officer applications…please turn them in ASAP!

We have set a date for the Self Defense class.  On October 24th at 3:15 pm, a girls only self defense class will be given in my classroom.  It will be 3 hours long and cost $10.00.  (You will need someone to pick you up from MBCC at 6:15 pm)  Please bring your money on Monday so that we can sign you up!  This is a valuable opportunity for all of you, please don’t miss out.  Besides, it’s a blast!

Our first full day at MBCC

I have to say that I REALLY enjoyed getting to know all of you better.  I can’t wait to get started.

Many of you asked about supplies.  I think it is safe to say that you will need a binder with loose leaf paper OR a spiral notebook and folders to keep completed work in order.  Pens and pencils, of course will be used.

Have a great evening!
