This blog post is from the dates of Sept 30th and Oct 4th of my externship. A task I have observed was an akg it was really cool it looks so simple but placing them is like you have to know where the left , right Artery and etc. A task I performed was placing the stickers your supposed to have 2 on ankles one on each side and 6 in the chest area. After the akg was performed we got the results and patient had high blood pressure & so it was the start of a heart attack so he had to be sent to the ER. I learned how Important is this class because this is actually something you’ll need to know cause your gonna be using this information throughout everything. Why are the hostpial and doctor offices AKG wires different?
