Dear Parents,

Under the educational websites tab on my blog you will now find access to frontrowed.com. Your child’s login information is included under the link. Please note that Frontrow is a great resource for differentiation of instruction. Everything your child completes on the site is consistently modified to their level. My favorite part about this site is that it covers ELA, math, science and social studies! It’s very interactive and your student will LOVE how the site adapts to their interests and ability levels, so it is challenging, but not frustrating. Please take some time to go through this FREE site; even a few times a week can make a big difference!

In addition to Frontrow, your child will also be given weekly homework for both math and language. These sheets are spiraled to offer a quick review of skills and strategies that each child needs to know and/or practice. These sheets will be sent home in your child’s folder every Monday and will be collected Friday mornings. Frontrow in connection with our daily homework, is more than enough of a nightly review for each student.

I will be showing the kids how to log in to the site tomorrow and take the initial pre-test. I will put their passwords and logins for the site into their homework folders as well.

Have a wonderful evening! 🙂

Sincerely,

Ms. Otto

P.S. – Here are some frequently asked questions about Frontrow:

How do I start the pre-test?

Since Front Row is fully adaptive, you don’t need to do anything to start the pre-test! Just have your students log in at https://student.frontrowed.com, and pick a domain (Fractions, Numbers in Base 10, etc), and the pre-test will start automatically!

How long does the pre-test take?

The pre-test takes between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on how far ahead or behind the student is. The farther ahead they are, the longer it will take.

How do I pick what students should work on?

With Front Row, you don’t need to! Since Front Row is completely adaptive, all you need to tell your students is on which of the topic areas you want them to focus. Once they select that topic area, Front Row will automatically pick the appropriate level for them, and will give them practice where they need it.
