Yesterday over 20 district staff participated in day one of a two day training on Specially Designed Instruction at ASC.

The Co-teaching Coaches worked together this week with the EL department to present at a 2D PD this week. The coaches presented on helping students understand Story Problems.

The Co-Teaching Coaches have been busy this week providing professional development to staff.

Tuesday at ASC around 100 staff members including Elementary Resource Teachers, Instructional Coaches, and ELDs came together for part 2 of the 3D SDI training.

Wednesday Salina Co-Teaching Staff participating in a Small Group Instruction focused PD.

The  co-teaching coaches have been busy supporting classrooms throughout the district.

They also had a great time visiting classrooms at Bryant, Woodworth, and Unis. They loved seeing students and teachers engaged!

On Monday, February 4th Resource Teachers spent the the Departmental Meeting learning about Crystallized Intelligence’s impact on learning.

On Thursday, February 14th Resource Teachers will continue learning about SDI during the half day professional development.
