Hello all my Haigh Owls. This week we will NOT be using Brainpop, but we WILL be using Music Play. In order to get to this site, you will need to type https://musicplayonline.com into your search bar. If it asks for a username and password, use mine conradt, and Musichaigh20.

1. After you have gotten to the Music Play site, click on the blue, Online Learning box, near the bottom left hand corner of your screen.
2. Scroll down to Grade 2.
3. Then Scroll down to Grade 2 Lesson 1.
4. Scroll down until you see teaching procedure. Then do activities 2-11. (If you are feeling brave, try some of the other activities and games.)
5. Write me a short note, via email, telling me what your favorite part of the lesson was.

3. Then Scroll down to Peter and the Wolf1 – story, the Bird, the Duck.
4. Scroll down until you see teaching procedure. Then do activities 1-7.
5. Write me a short note, via email, telling me which instrument represented the bird, and which instrument represented the duck.

Boys and girls, (Y-5’s through 2nd) I hope that you enjoyed the story about Henry the Steinway and Ana. For your assignment this week, you will be going to Brainpop Jr. again.

Directions: Type “Brainpop Jr. Music” in the search bar. Click on Pitch, Tone, and Beat. Watch the video. Then click on the box marked Activity. Do the activity, and answer the questions. Then click on the box marked Easy Quiz, and complete the quiz. Then send me an email with your activity answers, and your quiz score. Please complete this by Monday, April 27.

Hello Haigh Owls. This will be where you can come to find the weekly assignments for the Y-5’s through the 2nd grades. I will be posting on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from now on. 3rd through 5th grades can find their assignments on my Google Classroom, which is connected with your homeroom teacher’s Google Classroom.

The fourth and fifth grade concert, including Treble Makers will be at Bryant Middle School, on Wednesday, December 21, at 7:00 p.m.  The students will need to report to the band room at 6:40.  See you there.
