  • Find your piece of paper. Grab one tiny tile & one big tile.
  • Double check to make sure you have:

    1 compass

    1 river

    1 canal

    1 bridge

    2 roads

    20 tiny houses

    Commons 3×3

    1 “my house”

    1 “big house”

    1 church

    1 cemetery

    1 pub

    1 store

    1 coal mine

    30 trees 

We will complete Round 4-13 today! When we return from Spring Break we will finish our maps.

Classwork for 03-28-19

Bell Work for 03-28-19:

  • Take one piece of paper, one tiny tile, and one big tile.
  • Take one blue highlighter unless you have your own.
  • Your paper will be landscape format, so the longer sides are the top and bottom.
  • Draw a compass rose using pencil in the lower right hand corner of the page.
  • Draw a river going from the west side of the paper to the east. Make it the width of the big tile. Color it blue.

We are creating maps of a village & evolving it over the Industrial Revolution into a city!
