Classwork for 04-03-20

Happy Friday! I wanted to post one more update before Spring Break starts tomorrow. We will not be assigning any new work during Spring Break. We will resume assignments on Monday, April 13th, 2020. The district is working on a plan moving forward on grading, workload, and how we will finish off the school year. We will hopefully know more by the timr we return on 04-13-20. I will update everyone with information as I receive it.

Please continue to work on the work you have already been assigned. I will not be giving penalties for late work. Work on the assignments as you can and turn them in on iLearn or share them to me on Google Docs. Here is a list of all of the assignments, when they were assigned, and when they are due.

During Spring Break I hope you take some time to recharge yourself. We all need some positive things in our life that bring us happiness & serenity. In case you need some suggestions:

  • reach out to family members & friends (Facetime/Skype/phone)
  • watch movies & TV shows
  • read a book or a graphic novel
  • read to someone else in person or on video
  • spend time in nature
  • draw
  • paint
  • go for a walk or two
  • start a journal
  • take naps (Zzzz…)
  • meditate or practice mindfulness (www.calm.com , www.stopbreathethink.com, etc)
  • organize your room/closet/car
  • play video games
  • play some board games
  • play cards with family members (Cards Against Humanity ONLINE with friends!)
  • take pictures of things you love
  • make something! (Get crafty!)
  • try a new recipe (You know I love to eat!) Mmmm… cookies.
  • exercise (lots of videos online)
  • color! (It’s good for the soul!)
  • volunteer to help your family by doing something without being asked
  • April’s Happiness Calendar has ideas daily

I will still be receiving emails and Remind messages if you need me. Check in and let me know how you are. Bonus points if you send a picture doing something from the list above!

Here is a video from our FHS Administrators!

Be safe, stay healthy, and I will talk to you on the 13th! I love you all.
