Happy Sunday!

Hello families and happy Sunday!

Sorry ahead of time for the lengthy message! I wanted to get a head start on some new projects this week and figured I would send the message today in order to answer any questions that may arise.

  1. Video Chat
I would love to video chat with the entire class on Wednesday morning around 10:30. I will send invitation information as a ClassDojo message after I arrange the session.
  2. Assigned Work
Please as much as you can, try and keep up with assigned work on Freckle. Starting this week, I am going to start assigning additional work on Khan Academy. This means that you will have assignments on Freckle and Khan Academy, as well as access to Epic! Remember: Do not stress yourself (or your parents) if the work is too much. Reach out to me (email, message, ext, call, WhatsApp, etc.) and let me know what is going on. This work is to help keep you and your mind busy while we are away from the classroom, it is not meant to stress you or become a burden. Contact me if you need anything!
  3. Survey
Please complete this survey for the school social worker, Mrs. Al Ghazali. Her goal is to make sure families have everything they need during this complicated time. Many parents are loosing jobs (my husband included) this past week, so do not be shy if you or your family is in need of anything. We are all in this together and we would love to help.

  4. Finding Khan Academy
Students logged into our Khan Academy class back in December, so be sure to ask a sibling or parent for help if you can. If not, as always please do not hesitate to contact me.
-First, log in to your Chromebook or device.
-Secondly, go to the student portal on the Dearborn Public Schools website (https://dearbornschools.org/student-portal/)
-Third, log in to the Clever page with your school gmail account
-Lastly, find Khan Academy listed on your Clever page. You should already be assigned to Mrs. Clemente’s 3rd Grade class, so find your assignment and get busy! 🙂

I will still post your daily list of things to do on ClassDojo and reach out if you need anything!
Mrs. Clemente
