In the 6+1 Writing Traits, we’re wrapping up Organization and moving on to Conventions.

So much to learn! So little time! 🙂

Hi Students!

We are continuing on our 6+1 Writing lessons with the trait of Organization. You will analyze and deconstruct the rubric, as well as complete some group activities to show the importance of logical organization of ideas.

In literature, we are analyzing features of the poem structure (stanzas, rhythm, rhyme, and vivid language to create mental images). The test will be next Friday, 11/11.

In grammar, we are exploring the various uses of pronouns (personal, possessive, relative, and agreement of pronouns). There will be a pronoun quiz on Monday, 11/14.

Remember:  No school for students on Tuesday, 11/8! Read a lot! 🙂
