Espero que todos estén bien.  ¡Los extraño mucho!

I will continue to post announcements here. All work, learning, enrichment, etc. will be posted in Google Classroom.   It’s been an adjustment this past week.

I am proud of all of you that have been checking-in and doing everything.

On Wednesday we finished the Ronda 1 for Manía Musical/Locura de marzo 2020.  You can start filling out your Brackets and make your predictions of which songs will move on to Ronda 2, 3, Finales and the Campeón.  You can choose to print-out the brackets and fill them in manually, or fill out the Word document or Power Point Slide — It is up to you.  You only have to do one.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT DUE TODAY.  YOU CAN TURN THIS IN NEXT WEEK TUESDAY.

Have a safe, healthy, and peaceful weekend.

Abrazos virtuales – Señora Chávez

P.S.  I shared dance videos for a lot of our Manía Musical/Locura de marzo – just in case you feel like dancing, or doing some exercise while you are at home.

Espero que todos estén bien. I hope everyone is doing well. Just sending another reminder to make sure you are checking your Spanish Class/Hour Google Classroom. I will be posting all work there.

I also sent out a mass email to everyone yesterday. Students make sure you are checking your email daily — if you can.

I posted the slides for our Mania Musical / Locura de marzo Ronda 1.7 y 1.8. Make sure you vote for your favorites from Ronda 1.7 y 1.8! Make sure your vote counts!

Hola Chicos

Espero que todos estén bien.

This week we are going to continue with our Manía Musical/Locura de marzo on Monday and Wednesday.  I am debating if we should continue Mania Musical while we are out, or continue when we go back to school???  I will ask you in the google form and see what you-all think.

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday I will continue with Cultura Diaria.

Conducting class online is new to many of us.  Let’s see how this goes.

Make sure you go to GOOGLE CLASSROOM for your daily work/assignments.

Also, please take a look at the list on GoogleClassroom.  These are the students that have not sent me a reply to my announcement on Friday.  If you are friends with any of them can you please send them a text, tweet, snap-chat, etc. to check google classroom for Spanish.  If they do not have the GoogleClassroom code they can contact me at chavezm@dearbornschools.org

If any of you have questions please do not hesitate to email me.

In Lak’Ech y ~Abrazo virtual~

If approved by the entire county, the 2 mil proposal will generate approximately $6.2 million from Dearborn but the District will receive $7.8 million in additional funding for our schools.  Money would go to local schools starting this year and the millage expires after six years.  Continue reading »
