I hope everyone is doing well.

I cannot believe we have been “Distance Learning” for three weeks.  I am so proud of all of you that have been participating, checking-in, and doing all of the work.

I am sending a message to communicate some important information.

• MUY IMPORTANTE/VERY IMPORTANT:  If you are in need of a CHROMEBOOK please email me – I can let our administration know and we can possibly lend you a Dearborn Public Schools’ Chromebook to use while the school buildings are closed.  Please let me know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  They may be distributing more Chromebooks when we return from Spring Break.

• For MY Spanish classes — Students that were failing, or doing poorly, as of March 12, 2020 should take advantage of this time to improve, make-up missing work, retake quizzes tests, etc.   Make sure you contact me if you want to improve your grade.  We can start working on this the week of April 13^th.  Especially my SENIORS – please take advantage of this opportunity!

• Take advantage of the work I am posting in my Google Classroom.  These are great opportunities for you to have continued input of the target language.

• After Spring Break I will continue to post Enrichment/Review and learning opportunities on Google Classroom for you-all to take advantage during the closure.

• If you have any suggestions for things you would like to do, have me share, etc.  – please email me or send me a message via Google Classroom.

• Spanish NHS – I received a message from the National Chapter.  They said to go ahead and induct students.   Seniors – I will let you-all know about graduation cords, etc. once I know more information.

• DEARBORN SEAL OF BILITERACY:  As of Friday, April 3, 2020, we are being told that we should develop a plan and schedule for those seniors that have been working towards the district Seal of Biliteracy for this year.  As soon as I know more information I will share with you-all. If you were planning on working on this you should continue to work on your essay.

• And most importantly:  Stay safe, stay healthy & relax during Spring Break.
