Hello all!

This has been such a great first few weeks of school! We have jumped right into our first unit of math which focuses on place value. As a district, we are using a new math program this year which is very exciting! Daily 5 is in full swing as we’re focusing on building our stamina in reading and writing.

Next week is going to be a busy week! On Tuesday, students will have the opportunity to browse the book fair selections and on Thursday they will have the chance to purchase some awesome books! Only on Thursday please send money in an envelop or baggie with their name written on it so that we don’t have lost money. Thursday evening is also open house from 6:00 – 7:30. Please stop by as I am so excited to meet all of the parents! On Friday students have a 1/2 day with dismissal at 11:45.

If you are available to help with the book fair, please let myself or Ms. Sandy in the office know.
Color run money is still being collected! The class that raises the most money wins an ice cream party!
