Week of 12-16-19

Kindergarten and Young 5s – The students are very excited about learning computer coding skills. They will practice by giving simple instructions to help “Colby” our robotic mouse get to the cheese!

First Grade – Students are learning about basic computer coding skills. They are using a block based system to give characters simple commands that will allow them to get from one point to another within a maze. Students can practice at home using Code.org through Clever!

Second Grade – Students are learning about basic computer coding skills. They are using a block based system to give characters simple commands that will allow them to get from one point to another within a maze. Some of these coding concepts include sequencing, events, and loops. Students can practice at home using Code.org through Clever!

Third Grade – Students are learning about basic computer coding skills. They are using a block based system to give commands that will allow them to get from one point to another within a maze.
