Below is a schedule of our upcoming week.  Things may change due to school closures.  Please be sure to check the district website regarding possible school closures on Wednesday and Thursday.

NO SPELLING THIS WEEK

Social Studies – Life in the Colonies  *Test has been moved to next Tuesday!!

Writing- beginning non fiction

Math – Lessons 10-13  *End of Module Assessment is next Friday!

Science – Matter and Energy in Organisms and Ecosystems

Leader In Me – Finishing up Habit 3

Report Cards will be going home today!

*All after school activities have been cancelled today*

All Mall Booklets are due tomorrow.  No purchase necessary!

I hope everyone had a nice long weekend!  Here is a schedule of our week ahead:

Tuesday – 1/2 day for students:  dismissal is at 11:45

Wednesday – NWEA Testing – Science

Thursday – NWEA Makeups

Friday – Popcorn Day

Math – we will continue working on Module 3

Reading – students are being assessed on their reading levels.  New novels will begin this week.

Social Studies – Colonization and Settlement;  Upcoming Test is scheduled Nov., 2nd.  Students have already been given the review.

Leader In Me – continue on Habit 3 and making new NWEA Goals

Native American Experience – Tuesday

NWEA Testing – Science on Tuesday and Math on Wednesday

Friday – Half Day!  *End of Marking Period

Leader In Me – Habit 3  *All snowflakes are due this week

Math – Mid Module Assessment on Friday

Reading – students begin new novels

Writing – finishing opinion writing and pen pal letters

NWEA Testing begins Wednesday, Jan., 9th with Reading.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful gifts! I loved everything and was overwhelmed with your kindness and generosity!  Also, thank you to my room mothers, Mrs. Eid and everyone that donated food and paper products for our party.  Fun was had by all!

I wish you all a happy, healthy New Year!  See you in 2019!

Secret Santa gifts are due no later than Thursday.  Remember the cost is $5.00.  Only write the name of the student the gift is for, not who it is from.  Students are going to try and guess who their Secret Santa was.
