T-shirts and pajama pants are in! I have passed out the shirts and pants to your child. Most of them wanted to wear them this afternoon, so they may come home with the shirt on. A huge thank you to Mrs. Bowman for handling the ordering and sizing. The students love the shirts!!

Halloween Party Information
Our Halloween party is October 31st from 2:00-3:00. We will be having cider and donuts and students will be decorating a bag and trick or treating in the classroom followed by a movie. Spelling – words are on spelling city. Please make sure your child is spending a couple nights a week on spelling city going over the words and activities.
ELA – We will begin opinion writing this week.

Book-It
October 6th, 2017 / / categories: Class News /Book – It has now begun! Each month from October through March, I will be sending a form home for students to log the books they have read and the amount of pages. The requirement is a minimum of 300 pages per month. I would also like the students to write a summary from one of the books they read that month. They may use the back of the paper to write this summary. I would like parents to sign the form at the end of each month.

Science – We will be conducting our first experiment tomorrow!! Our unit is on Chemical Reactions!
Our first PBIS Reward and Assembly is this Wednesday! The reward is extra recess and popsicles.
We begin Book Buddies this week also!
*Reminder* Students should be reading a minimum of 30 minutes every night as well as studying their spelling words.
*Math Retakes are today. Students will be retaking these using their white boards and a new score will be added to their old test. This will help me do a quick assessment since they are only a couple problems students missed. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
