Important Information:

Science Fair Boot Camp – Materials went home before spring break and posters will be going home today.  Please make sure you read the directions carefully before starting the experiment.  Everyone must complete the experiment whether you are attending the Science Fair Boot Camp or not.

Camp Chaperones:

This years camp chaperones for our class are:

Thank you to everyone that volunteered, unfortunately we are unable to take all of you!  If your name was chosen and you are unable to go, please let me know ASAP.  Chaperones are expected to participate in most of the activities.

The dead line to put your name in to be a chaperone is 9:00 tomorrow morning.  If you are interested and have not signed up, please send me an email by 9:00 tomorrow morning or send a note in with your child.  *Remember, in order to chaperone, you must have an up to date background check.

Unfortunately, we can not take everyone.  You will be notified as soon as names have been drawn.

*All students are to report to the classroom at 7:00 on Tuesday evening.  The concert begins at 7:15.

Thursday – Math Test/Pajama Day/Reading Logs from March Is Reading Month are due

MSTEP – begins Tuesday, April 10th

We had a “special” guest reader on Wednesday.  Kim DeGiulio from channel 4 news (and my former student) came and read to the entire 5th grade and 4/5 split.  A class picture was taken with Kim and will be on the morning news at around 5:15 and 6:15.  Please watch if you get a chance!

Again, our SS Test has been moved to next week, Tuesday, March 27th.

Spring Vocal Concert is Tuesday, March 27th @ 7:15.

PJ Read-In Day is Thursday, March 29th.

Students are not to be bringing cell phones to school.  If for a special reason they need one, they must leave it in the office in the morning and pick it up after school.
