Tomorrow is the fifth grade Promotion Ceremony at 9:30.  Please come to school at your regular time (8:35) and report to our classroom.  Please dress nicely for this important event. There will be cake and refreshments in the cafeteria following the ceremony.  Do not forget to pick up your bag on the table in the cafeteria before you leave for the summer.

Don’t forget to bring a water bottle for Field Day tomorrow!😃

It’s hard to believe it’s the last week of school!  Below is a schedule of our very busy week:

Pool Party – Tomorrow!  We will be leaving school about 9:30.  Students are to bring towels, swimsuit and sunscreen.  Students will be  allowed to play in the park, and we have the pool from 11:30-2:30.  We will be eating lunch at the park and have snacks.  Students are to bring a beverage. Parents are welcome to visit throughout the day!

Tuesday-Book-It Pizza Party. *students are to bring a beverage *this will be at 2:00 so they need to bring a lunch!

Wednesday – Field Day

Thursday – Promotion Ceremony @9:30. Half  Day and  last day of school!

Our pool party is Monday!  If you have not done so already, please sign up to bring something to share to eat.  We are having pizza and whatever other snacks that are donated.  Parents are welcome to come and visit us up at the park.  It looks like 80 degrees and sunny!!

Reminder: Tomorrow is our Pen Pal Field Trip to Bishop Park and boat ride down the river.  Please remember to bring a sack lunch with a beverage.  We will be leaving school at 9:30 and returning no later than 2:00. We will be traveling by bus and parents may follow in their cars.  I will pass out directions before we leave.

6/14 – Promotion Ceremony  9:30 11:30  *Half Day!!!!!

First of all thank you to all our wonderful chaperones for another successful camping trip for our fifth graders!  We had a great time and great weather!!!

No spelling tests for the rest of the year, although we will be doing activities on Spelling City at school.

NWEA Testing – May 29th-May 30th  *Makeups will be the 31st and June 1st.

Human Growth & Development – Thurs., May 31st

Instrumental Concert- Thursday, May  31st

*Please remind your child to bring a water bottle to school!  Thank you to Mrs. Pugh for bringing in a cooler of ice and water!
