June 12th, 2019 / / categories: Class News /Tomorrow we are having a class party in the afternoon. Please bring a beverage of your choice (no glass bottles) and a junky snack. I will be providing pizza and dessert. Students are to still plan on bringing or purchasing a lunch in the cafeteria, our party won’t be until later afternoon.
Pool Party
June 11th, 2019 / / categories: Class News /Tomorrow is our pool party! Please remember to bring your swimsuit (you may wear it under your clothing), towel,sunscreen and a beverage labeled with your name. Also, if you signed up to bring a snack, please bring that with you as well (unless your parent is dropping it off at the pool). Lindbergh School is at picnic are #4, which is to the left of the pool and by the tennis courts. We will be leaving for the pool about 10:00. We have the pool from 11:30 – 2:30. Lunch is being provided by the PTA. All parents that signed up to drive are expected to be here around 9:30 to fill out paperwork in the office. Please make sure you have your driver’s license and current proof of insurance to present to Ms. Pina. Drivers from our class our:

Field Day Reminder!
Tuesday, June 11th
9:00 – 11:35am 3rd-5th
12:30 – 3:05pm Y5’s-2nd
Each student needs to bring or wear the following:
- Athletic wear in the assigned class color if possible
Y5 – K = Yellow
1st = Blue
2nd = Red
3rd = Yellow
4th = Blue
5th = Red
- Hat, if desired
- Athletic Shoes (no sandals/boots)
- Water bottle (labeled)
- Snack (labeled)
- Sun Screen applied before school. However, parents/guardians may come up to the school to reapply before your students designated time.
We still need parents to volunteer for stations and to bring watermelon! Those volunteering will receive a lunch sponsored by the PTA.

The PTA will be serving cheese pizza, watermelon, and pretzels for lunch for the students; however, students are welcome to bring your own lunch instead. Students with lactose allergies should bring their medicine.
Last Week of School!!!!
June 8th, 2019 / / categories: Class News /Wow, it’s finally here, the last week of school! That sure came up quickly!! This is a busy week ahead, so be sure to check dates and times for events.
Instrumental Concert – Monday *Also begin locker and desk clean out*
Field Day – Tuesday *Fifth Grade is suppose to wear red, their tie dye shirts preferably * Our field day is in the morning this year!
Pool Party – Wednesday *we are using parent drivers to pick up and take back to school*
Thursday – class celebration and final clean out
Friday – Promotion Ceremony 9:30 *please dress nicely* After the ceremony, please join us for cake in the cafeteria and don’t forget to take your bag when you leave.
I wanted to thank all my parents for their help and support this year!

Lighthouse Celebration
June 5th, 2019 / / categories: Class News /Tomorrow we will be having an assembly celebrating Lindbergh’s Lighthouse status! Please bring a small flashlight with your name on it to use during the celebration.
Important Information!
May 30th, 2019 / / categories: Class News /Permission Slip for the pool party went home yesterday. Please sign and return by this Friday. Parents, please check the box at the bottom of the slip as to whether you can drive and pick up that day. Parents are welcome to come and visit throughout the day!!
Summer Learning: Math and Literacy
A note went home from Bryant regarding summer learning that students are expected to complete. Bryant teachers were here on Tuesday and discussed with the students the expectations and helped them to log on to Khan Academy through Clever. Students are not to log in from their personal accounts. Please read the note and the expectations with your child.
