Important Dates

Announcement from the DCMST:  IF a student has already submitted the DCMST parent permission form to Mr. Renko, the DCMST has extended the online application deadline to Friday, February 27, 2015.

Again, this is only for students who have already turned in the permission form to

 

Applications for the Henry Ford Early College are due by March 15th.  Applications can still be picked up from the office.

 

Ms. Robin Thomas, Counselor at DHS will be at Bryant meeting with our 8th grade students on Thursday, March 12th at 1:00 p.m. in the auditorium.

Test Out Registration for High School Classes

Test Out exams are a method by which students may gain CREDIT required by demonstrating mastery of course content by successfully completing written exams and additionally in some cases, performances, portfolios and oral examinations.  Students may test out of only 2 semester classes each semester.   The deadline to turn in the June Test Out Registration form is Monday, June 2.  Please see Mr. Renko for an application if your child is interested in attempting to test out of a high school class.

Some Important Deadlines

Deadlines from the Counseling Department
 
1.   DHS Course Selection Sheets are now LATE.  Many have not been turned in and the DHS counselor is coming to Bryant to pick them up this week
 
2.   Our current 6th and 7th grade students will be receiving their course selection sheets on Tuesday, April 7 during Advisory.  They are due to the counseling office by Friday, April 7.
 
3.  8th Grade Farewell Speeches are due to Mr. Renko by April 17th.  One male and one female speech will be selected to be read at the Honors Assembly in June.   Speech guidelines are still available in the Counseling Office.

Mr. Renko, Counselor at Bryant Middle School

 

DHS counselor, Robin Thomas will be coming to Bryant on Thursday, March 27 at  8:30  a.m.  to meet with our 8th graders about scheduling for next year.   They will receive their 9th grade course selection sheets.

We encourage our students to share and discuss their course selections with their parents or guardians.

The SIGNED course selection sheets will be due to Mr. Renko by Friday, April 4.  Thank you
