Dearborn High Student Council Representatives
It is time for our 8th graders to elect their freshman student council representatives at Dearborn High. The election process will be coordinated through our History teachers, Ms. Magee and Mrs. Mualem. Applications will be available from them after they introduce the material.
This application must be turned in the main office by Monday, May 9th. The primary will be on Thursday, May 14. The top ten candidates from the primary will be on the ballot for the final election. The final election will be on Friday, May 15.

I have met with all of the seventh and eighth grade students and introduced Career Cruising. Career Cruising is a great resource for students and parents. It allow them to explore careers that match their interests. In addition, it is a great resource for colleges and scholarships….

“Farewell to Bryant” Speech Contest for 8th graders
Here is your chance to be heard, 8th graders. Please write an eighth grade Farewell to Bryant Speech. Your speech is due to Mr. Renko by April 22nd. One male and one female speech will be selected to be read at the Honors Assembly in June. Speech guidelines and requirements are available in the Counseling Office.

What: Incoming Freshman Student and Parent Night
When: Wednesday, March 9th at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Dearborn High School Auditorium and Cafeteria
Who: Class of 2020 Students and Parents (OUR CURRENT 8TH GRADERS)
Why: Learn all you need to know to become a DHS Pioneer! Attendees will learn about current high school graduation requirements and curriculum, as well as, essential procedures for all incoming freshmen. Fall athletics and clubs will be showcased in the cafeteria and students will be encouraged to gather information and sign-up. We hope you will attend this valuable presentation. We look forward to meeting the Class of 2020 students and parents!
