Opportunity for 8th graders

From Mr. King:

I am responsible for the Law Enforcement Explorer Post with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and we are providing youth between 14 – 18 years of age (or beginning the 8th grade) who have an interest in careers with Law Enforcement (City, County, State, Federal, Officers, Forensics, Investigations, etc.).  Explorers are provided with hands on training to include but not limited to (Traffic Stops, Making Arrest, Weapons Qualification, Report Writing, Interviewing Techniques, Physical Fitness, and Leadership).  CBP recognizes experience as an Explorer in our application process for careers within CBP and we have several employees who were Explorers before they began their career with CBP.

CBP Explorer Post #306 is hosting an Open House to provide information about our Law Enforcement Explorer Program.
