Attending Middle School Sports
Good afternoon everyone. As we move into our Winter #1 season (Boys Basketball and Girls Swimming), I just want to clarify our masking guidelines for MS athletics. We will be following the MHSAA guidance, as we have for the entire school year (the high schools are going to follow the same protocols).
1. ALL spectators must wear masks when inside our buildings.
2. Any athlete that is actively participating in practice or games, does NOT have to wear a mask.
3. Any athlete that is not actively participating in practice or games, DOES have to wear a mask.
4. Coaches should wear a mask when appropriate.
As of right now, we will NOT be allowing spectators for our City Swim Meet due to the inability to space spectators and swimmers during the meet. The district will revisit this as we work through the season, but for now, we will not be having spectators at the City Meet.
Basketball Practice
Basketball Practice is from 3:30 – 5:30 (Varsity) and 3:30 – 5:00 (JV) all week.
