WEDNESDAY, March 22 and THURSDAY, March 23 – All 7th grade athletes

WEDNESDAY, March 22 and THURSDAY, March 23- 6th Grade athletes whose last name begins with K-Z

Tryouts should last until around 4:30-4;45 pm. 

Students should meet in the cafeteria to be checked in by the coaches. After that, quickly get dressed for tryouts and meet the coaches on the track.

Tryouts are two days long. 

Day 1 is 100M and Long Jump/High Jump

Day 2 is 1Mile and Shot Put

You must participate in all five events for tryouts. 

Physicals can be given to Mr. Blake or Ms. Duquette prior to tryouts.

Practices are 3:30 to 4:45pm; Meets typically last until around 7pm.

Academic expectations is a 2.0 GPA and conducting ourselves with respect and responsibility during the school day and practices. 

Physicals are required to practice. April 3rd is the first day of practice.

Discipline: 3 strikes and you are out policy. This includes absences, tardiness, inappropriate behavior, poor grades, and missing meets or events during a meet.

Practice starts Monday, November 7th. Meet in the lobby in front of the school @ 3:30 with
everything you need including a bathing suit, goggles, swim cap etc.
Practice on that day will finish @ 5:00 with an expectation of being picked up AT or BEFORE
5:15.
More information to follow about a parents meeting later in the week.

The final swimming roster will be posted Friday evening after callbacks.Thank you to all of those who tried out.

Please report to the entrance of the lobby area outside of the bookfair tomorrow @ 3:30. Be prepared to swim again with everything you need including a bathing suit, goggles, swim cap etc. 

Approximate finishing time is 4:15 to 4:30.  Hopefully .

The volleyball schedule has changed a bit. The next game will be on October 4th. This is instead of the October 7th match. The Varsity team will begin the matches. The Junior Varsity team will follow the Varsity.

Also, for the volleyball match on October 12th, the Varsity will play first, followed by the Junior Varsity match.

There will be a short parent meeting at 5:20 on Tuesday. Parents should come in through the parking lot doors. The coaches will be discussing Grade Point Averages, transporations arrangements and the policy of attending practices.

Practice is from 3:25-5:15 tomorrow. The first game is on Friday, September 9 at Bryant Middle School. Junior Varsity game begins at 3:45. Varsity will follow junior varsity.
