Algebra 1, March 18

Great job on completing the Google Classroom assignments for the last two days. I’ll be grading yesterday’s submissions today. Today, catch up if you are behind, starting with Monday’s assignment.

While I am grading, today you can work n exponent properties on IXL. After signing in, go to the Algebra tab and spent 30 minutes working on any skill from V3 through V7. Remember, I see how many minutes you work on this site and how many questions you answer correctly.

If you need your username and password, send me an e-mail.

I’ve created a Google Classroom assignment page for today for those who have questions or like to post on our wall.

Pre-Algebra Remote Learning

Three weeks off. Over the next coming weeks, Ms. Beydoun and I would like to encourage you to keep your brain active. We aren’t sure yet how we are going to handle assignments over the next few weeks, but we would like you to do the following:

We have created a Google Classroom site entitled Pre-Algebra. The class code for the site is otvlmhd. Please sign-up on this site. Should we need to, this is what we would use for giving assignments, posting handouts, turning in assignments, etc.

In the meantime, we encourage all to continue to work on assigned IXL skills. We will be monitoring progress and will assign additional skill work as needed. Should you have forgotten your username, don’t hesitate to e-mail to ask for it. I have the lists at home.

Algebra 1 Remote Learning

Well, 3 three weeks off. I don’t know what will happen with deadlines, testing, final exams. I am hoping everyone stays safe over our time off and reads lots of books (I know I will). Keep monitoring the blog. I’ll post as I learn more.

I encourage you to do a couple of things. Should we begin to post assignments, I will use the Google Classroom site we set up for the Midterm. I have renamed it to just Algebra 1. The class code is aoub4kv if somehow you missed signing up before. I may Google Classroom later to post assignments, handouts, links, etc. Nothing yet.

I also encourage you to use IXL . You might benefit from working on any section under the Algebra 1 tab. If you have forgotten your username and password, feel free to e-mail me as I will have the lists at home.

Keep your brain active over our break whether it is working on math or not.
